Description
This is the RAY BRYANT Up Above the Rock LP, very tough to find Funk record, ORIGINAL 1st pressing Cadet/Chess Records #LPS-818 (stereo) DJ PROMO, factory stamped on labels as a promo copy!! Vinyl has several light to moderate surface marks/scratches, may be audible in some spots, cover has some old DJ red tape on left hand side of cover and identification sticker upper left hand corner. There is a small split in middle of bottom seem, but I do not see any splits on the left hand side, the tape was put on there by the radio station for identification purposes only. There's some additional markings on the cover in black ink by the radio station and some light spots/staining against white parter of cover on front/back. Definitely not a mint LP, but still very rare and the first time I have seen a DJ copy verson of this Jazz/Funk classic!! Don't miss your chance to pick it up (if you can get it for the opening bid, that would be a steal as average copies of the non-promo version regulary sell for $40 to $50)!!
