This record is unreal. I thought it was a women singing for a while. Come to find out i learned about Jimmy Scott. This was lifted from Wikepidia

"Jimmy Scott (born July 17, 1925), aka "Little" Jimmy Scott, is an American jazz vocalist famous for his unusually high contralto voice which is due to Kallmann's syndrome, a very rare genetic condition. The condition stunted his growth at four feet eleven inches until, at age 37, he grew another 8 inches to the height of five foot seven inches. The condition prevented him from reaching puberty, leaving him with a high, undeveloped voice, hence his nickname "Little" Jimmy Scott[1]." wikipedia 

Tangerine Records was owned by Ray Charles 1963-1973 with distribution from ABC Paramount Records. On the net you'll mostly find either Cd issues or reissue vinyl. Hard to Find original pressings. This record was supervised by Ray Charles so you know this IS THE REAL deal.  Keep in mind my ratings are super conservative and all grading is done under intensely bright lighting. You can see any minor imperfections in the Pictures.

Id love to grade this a little higher but I want to make sure everyone is happy.

VINYL: VG+

COVER: VG++

DESCRIPTION

VINYL: Looks nice has a good gloss to it. it could be  VG++ or possibly higher but it has some regular wear and light paper scuffs nothing out of the ordinary for an LP of this age

COVER: Bit of fading Front right at the top. as seen in the picture. The cover is nice pretty aside from that. Has crisp all around firm edges except the corners have a slight crease. 1 with a tiny tiny tear nothing to worry about, it is miniscule. Signs of age small tape mark back right cover. Nothing to crazy.

10=Mnever played! no spindle marks! perfect! (not common)

9=M-ALMOST FLAWLESS played 1 or few times, very well kept, nice shine

8=NM slight wear, very little else appears. Still glossy.

7=NM-minor paper scuffs no scratches, great for collectors.

6=VG++more scuffs than NM-, no or slight scratches, wont disrupt play

5=VG+    scuffs, average vinyl, not abused, natural wear, enjoyable.

4=VGplays VG light noise, noticeable scuffs, enjoyable No skips No repeats

3=G++moderate scratches, easily visible scuffs, crackle/gravel!!

2=G+scratches frequently cause clicks, pops, repeats, skips

1=Gwont really sell any of it. it goes for donation when not playable.

10=MPERFECT. a rare rating. Looks factory new

9=M-almost perfect, looks clean, age may be apparent

8=NM      artwork/picture are amazing,  very minor signs of wear

7=NM-more natural wear still a must have for a any collector

6=VG++can still be close to NM- creasing here or there no ink wear

5=VG+    edge-wear, natural wrinkles here or there due to age, no seam splits 

4=VGring & edge-wear,seam splits almost starting will occur

3=G++very noticeable ring & edge-wear, small seam splits

2=G+heavy ring wear, seam splits

1=Gheavy ring wear, large seam splits

GRADING

My grading is essentially based on the Goldmine Standards. I have included more info so there isn't as much in question. With that said, my final rating is still truest to Goldmine standards.  I am very strict and meticulous about the grading and THOROUGHLY inspect each unit for an accurate description. However, Im sure you already know, grading varies with everyone.
