Description

RAY SYLVESTER ORCHESTRA -- Seven Time Winners -- hard to find, original early 1970's (??) U.S. album by much-loved Trinidad group w/ excellent mix of Calypso/Soca, Jazz, Funk and Big Band sounds on tracks like the uptempo "Funk Calypso," "Drunk & Disorderly" and "Rope."  Amazing cover artwork of young woman lounging on the floor surrounded by LP's and a teddy bear (!) is almost worth the price of admission alone.   Does not come up for sale often.  See photo for track listing.  Cover:  VG+, ring wear, wear at corners, light creasing along spine and upper left front.  Record:  VG+, several light surface marks on Side One, overall clean, on Straker's label, U.S. pressing.
