R&B 1950 - RCA 50-0031 45rpm - Johnny Moore Three Blazers - CUT OFF THE FAT - rare red vinyl record
Here is the rare RCA 1950 original U.S. vinyl 45 rpm record of “CUT OFF THE FAT (TAKE OUT THE BONE)"/"SHUFFLE SHUCK” by Johnny Moore's Three Blazers, with Oscar Moore. It is an ORIGINAL red/cerise color vinyl RCA 45 rpm #50-0031 with off-blue label and gold print. This 45 has been used but is in good condition with the usual surface scratches and label ring wear. My old radio station turntable plays it through fine, but some other turntables present a few skips in playback. RCA introduced the 45rpm format with these colored vinyl series of blues records in 1949--fans still preferred 78's and these 45’s ended up being hard to find. Nice condition for a rare record that’s nearly 67 years old; you’ll be very pleased with this showpiece! Nearly impossible to find, and rarely offered. NOTE: this is the last of these red vinyl 50-series 45’s I have left; the other 7 are all sold.
