Description
For your consideration is a rare vintage 10 inch 78 rpm by the Trenier Twins a.k.a. the Treniers entitled Hey! Sister Lucy b/w I Miss You So. The Treniers were one of the first r&b / rock and roll acts to be accepted by white audiences. They were arguably the first true r&b group to appear on national television and their flashy provocative stage presence influenced later rock and rollers like Bill Haley. They were primarily a stage act however and their records were mostly an afterthought. As a result they are hard to come by today. Certainly an interesting piece or early r&b / rock & roll. Hear below!

Please keep in mind that rather economical equipment was used and 78s only received a light cleaning. For the highest fidelity reproduction results, a correct sized, well maintained stylus should always be used and antique records should also always receive a deep cleaning with a stiff bristled brush and a non-alcohol based soap. I do not provide grading beyond what is required by eBay.
