Description

DESCRIPTION:   Roy Brown And His Mighty Mighty Men on DeLuxe Records #3319: GOOD ROCKIN' MAN b/w BAR ROOM BLUES. An original first pressing from 1951 and one of the early rare records that can possibly claim to be "the first R&R record. This one is near impossible to find. Two killer R&B rockers from the man who wrote Good Rockin Man. It was a hugh hit for Wynonie Harris in the late 40's. This is Roy's version. This one books for up to $350 in Osborne!  One definitely for the collectors.

CONDITION: Strong and solid VG condition for the labels and vinyl on both sides of the record. The record is in good condition and plays strong VG to almost VG+ on both sides. The labels are in excellent condition with no stickers, stains tears or writing.

I USE THE GOLDMINE GRADING GUIDE

MINT (M): Record should appear to have just left the manufacturer without any handling. It should appear perfect - no scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, no writing, tears or splits.

NEAR MINT (NM): A record that is otherwise Mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not effect the play.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): This record has been handled and played either infrequently or very carefully. This could mean that there are light paper scuffs, or slight scratches that will not effect the play. Slight warps that do not effect the sound are OK.

VERY GOOD (VG): This record could show signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails from countless spins on the turntable. A VG record may have some audible surface noise when played, although any such noise should not overwhelm the music.

GOOD (G): Good should mean the record is well-played with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, agravating surface noise etc. but can still be played without skipping
