Condition vinyl: VG retains almost all of its sheen, few light visible hairlines none of which are feelable Condition sleeve: VG+ nice shape; faint impression ring; small appx. 2.5" bottom seam split from side opening; small pen writing of price upper right corner on back
Comments: First pressing from '61 on deep grooved black/silver King label with 3" logo across top. Check my listings this week for a PILE of other LP's by the Godfather of Soul including some more early issue rarities!

Grading: I grade conservatively on a scale of: NM (rarely applied to a used record, must look absolutely pristine), EX (a true top copy worthy of any collection with 1 or 2 truly minor imperfections), VG+ (a minimal amount of marks may be seen under bright light with none deep enough to significantly effect playback), VG (perfectly good playing copy but may show slightly more than minimal marks with 1 or 2 maximum being feelable), VG- (still an eminently listenable record that will show numerous superficial and possibly several more impacting marks), G (will play through but could be a "noisy" listen the result of numerous surface marks of various severities).
