Please note: for proper balances on playback, all 2-track tapes must be played on a 2-track machine. Playback on a 4-track machine will not give even weight to the channels and may not be satisfactory.

One of the very last of the RCA 2-track issues, this was first listed in the RCA "New Releases" flyer dated October 1958. It was last listed in RCA's February 1961 catalog, after which it disappeared (along with all the rest of the 2-tracks), so it was available only for a very short time.
This was the only stereo release of this recording at all until the budget-line Victrola LP issue in February 1969.
[In my opinion, one of Munch's most stunning recordings, far too little recognized!]
The tape is in excellent condition; the box shows only very minor shelf wear, and a former owner’s name/address stamp on back.
