Side 2: EXC+. 3 Grease spots in band 1. No spindle marks.

The composition La création du monde, Op. 81a, is a 20-minute-long ballet with music composed by Darius Milhaud, in 1922-1923, which outlines the Creation of the World, based on African folk mythology.
On a trip to the United States in 1922, Darius Milhaud heard "authentic" jazz for the first time, on the streets of Harlem, which left a great impact on his musical outlook. Using some jazz movements, the following year, 1923, he finished composing La création du monde, which was cast as a ballet in six continuous dance scenes, as follows:
Overture
The Overture features a legato solo featuring alto saxophone.
I. The Chaos before Creation

This section is a jazz fugue played by double bass, trombone, saxophone and trumpet.
II. The slowly lifting darkness, the creation of trees, plants, insects, birds and beasts

II. returns to the opening legato melody, played by flute against the tune from the second section played by cello gradually leading to a third tune, a blues, played by the oboe.
III. Man and woman created
La naissance de l'homme et de la femme
III. sees the two violins pitted against the bassoon in a cakewalk.
IV. The desire of man and woman

IV. includes a solo for clarinet with a rhythmic accompaniment of piano, strings and percussion and then sees the return of the tune from the first section which eventually gives way to the rhythmic accompaniment which increases in passion.
V. The man and woman kiss (Coda)

The final section includes motives from II., the overture, and I. Music derived from the latter is played by the flute utilizing "flutter-tonguing". The work closes with a gentle D Major 9 chord from saxophone and strings.
The Suite Provencale, Op. 152 is a symphonic work of Darius Milhaud written in 1936.
Milhaud's Suite provençale serves as a microcosm of the composer's style and oeuvre. Its eight movements alternate rousing marches and fanfares with more somber and introspective themes, creating a work that, though characteristically austere and emotionally somewhat disengaged in its individual moments, creates a dramatic framework in which emotions held at arm's length nonetheless draw in the listener and focus one's sensibilities.
This is music based on a play - Decline of Valmy in 1936 (Bertran de Born). A revised version for orchestra alone (op. 152c) the slightly precedes and was created by Milhaud himself in Venice on September 12, 1937. Other versions are numbered as well, from Opus 152a-152d. The style is neoclassical.
The creation of the ballet version was held in the Opera-Comique on February 1, 1938, under the direction of Roger Desormiere (sets and costumes by Andre Marchand).
Its execution takes about fifteen minutes. The work consists of 8 games played in one motion:
