Description
Up for auction here is Rimsky-Korsakoff's "Scheherazade" performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Fritz Reiner on the RCA label, catalog #LSC-2446. The LP (with 14S/11S stampers) is NM. The cover has several issues....enough that I don't know how to grade it. There are two punctures (one above the "E" in Reiner, the other in the second "C" in Chicago....the one on the "E" also goes through to the back cover.... although they are more like a dent than a true puncture...when I open the mouth of the jacket, I see no light coming through...so the jacket is still fairly solid). There are a few small seam creases along the spine and a bent corner at top left. And then just a bit of ringwear...mainly on bottom front center. Still, it displays well in its' new plastic sleeve....and the minor cover issues will just save you some money on a beautiful copy of this very desirable "Living Stereo" classic. Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $14 to Canada and $24 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $6 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
