Description
Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition issue of a classic FIRST PRESSING RCA LIVING STEREO label issue (with 3S / 6S Stampers in the runout grooves) of a performance of the Concerto for Organ, Strings and Timpani composed by FRANCIS POULENC and "Jeu de Cartes" composed by IGOR STRAVINSKY--the compositions are performed by conductor CHARLES MUNCH, who leads The Boston Symphony Orchestra, with featured organist BERJ ZAMKOCHIAN on the Poulenc Concerto. The LP is on the RCA Victor Living Stereo label with the serial number LSC-2567, is a STEREO issue and was made in the United States in 1961--it's a 1st PRESSING with the "Shaded Dog" label and 3S / 6S stampers in the runout grooves.
Note: This record has been SOUND GRADED in its entirety!
This record is in SUPERB overall condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- condition with a couple of moderate scuffs at the start of side one which do not significantly affect play and just a few scattered slight paper scuffs otherwise--the LP has been SOUND GRADED in its entirety and sounds absolutely fantastic, with something like a total of a half dozen light scattered tics and no significant background noise; the cover is in VG++ condition with a clean 1 inch split on the upper opening edge and a 1/4 inch split on the lower opening edge, light dings on the tips, a tiny owner's name and two circled words in pink ink on the back cover, a couple of tiny dings on the spine end, some scattered light scuffs and light shelfwear but NO other significant flaws! The ORIGINAL RCA VICTOR INNER SLEEVE is also included and in beautiful shape!
Please Note: I CAN ship records outside of the United States but will need to get a weight estimate based on the final PACKAGED weight for this record--I cannot ship for the $4.00 U.S. Media Rate, so please wait to make payment until a final invoice is received.
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this vinyl LP!
