Description
Truly stunning copy of this elusive title...OK, the Sleeve... contains a small stain to rear at bottom spine edge right corner, pic seven, ....and a miniscule 2 mm tear at opening edge, see last pic at pencil point.....other than that a excellent delicate thin card sleeve still bright and sharp with no sticker removal residue, scrawl, tears or extreme shelf rub or laminate peel or loss......I try not to deal in hyperbole but I doubt you'll find one as clean as this example out there...and I mean the package as a whole, vinyl included...
Original red text inner..... is crisp and tight with only a corner crease to indicate its 61 year heritage...this item is totally new to the market place having sat for decades in my friends uncle`s record cabinet in a plastic protector sleeve......
Vinyl.... is gleaming with no evidence of bad handling or to be honest, play.....I am at this moment audibly grading vinyl and the sound is click, crackle, pop and hiss free.....truly stunning crisp audio.....no hum or background noise at all,,,,,,Nr Mint audio wise....cannot really claim mint as that says to me "un-played"....but got to ascertain sound some how.....and this is again....Superb..
Labels ......with the "Decca Records Company Ltd" and "grooved" centre and "Silver spot" are again...Nr Mint.....no spindle marks, truly clean and crisp......
Matrix ......Side One.....L2RY....2106 ID......Side Two.....L2RY... 2107 ID
Audio....Side One is, yes you guessed it....Superb, I doubt the album has had more than a handful of careful plays....beautiful production and sound.....Side Two.....As in Side One....no clicks from start to finish...bright clear intro`s, not a peep between tracks....as stated I doubt its been played in its entirety in years......Near Mint.
Please view recent feedback on items and go back a page or two to note sale of Leonid Kogan, £2000 + SAX 2307 LP to China last year and the very happy buyer to ascertain my strict grading credentials....and be free to note my other account....semaphorogrundy777.....with a two decade plus feedback history on hundreds of audio/music related items....many rare records etc.....
£5.75 to UK with Royal Mail Signed for....Would prefer to send overseas with eBay's GSP service....but if buyer prefers another service I'm happy with that but will insist on insurance.....the Kogan LP went to China and came to £35.00 with UPS, obviously this was in an enveloped strong boxed and extensively padded mailer.......We`ll sort something out.....Any questions feel free to ask and I`ll do my best to answer....
So happy bidding and please drink responsibly !!
UPDATED INFORMATION......Hello, for some reason I was unable to revise description of item even before item went live...I only noticed this later....after numerous attempts at trying, no joy....apparently a technical glitch at ebay by all accounts......was going to include matrix numbers obviously and highlight my strong enveloped padding mailers.......So here goes with the matrix numbers....
Side One.......L2RY 2106 ID..... Side Two.....L2RY 2107 ID....Indicating this LP as a true first UK edition pressed by the Decca Company....
