Description

Hi!  You're looking at an excellent condition, NEAR MINT / NEAR MINT- record which is RARE and difficult to find and is an AUDIOPHILE recording on the classic RCA LIVING STEREO label--it's an ORIGINAL ISSUE with the bright red "Shaded Dog" label and bears the serial number LSC-2214.  The record was issued in 1958, when RCA was pressing some of the finest audiophile vinyl ever heard!  The LP has NEAR MINT- condition vinyl with just a couple of light to moderate paper scuffs that should not affect play and one very small, light scratch near the end of side one which may generate a few pops on several revolutions, but should not otherwise impede sound quality, and a NM condition cover with some light general wear and edgewear and a small pink price sticker in the upper right corner of the front cover.  This is a brilliant recording of the "New World Symphony" (also known as "From the New World") No. 5 (9) in E Minor, Opus 95, by ANTONIN DVORAK; it's performed by the legendary conductor FRITZ REINER, who leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
