Description
The grades I used in the title are conservative. The disc has fine lines and scratches on each side, but the record plays great. There is a little bump in the vinyl between band one and two on the second side, but it doesn't affect play. Visually the disc is only a VG by Goldmine standards, but the record was a pleasure to listen to, with little background noise. I played it on a fairly new component turntable, and there are no skips or loud clicks or pops. The labels are excellent as you can see in the photos, and the disc still has high gloss. The cover is in great shape, at least a VG+. There is the beginning of a split on the open edge of the top seam, but it goes less than a half inch. No ring wear, and the rest of the seams are strong with no hint of splitting. The lower corners are bumped a bit. The inner sleeve is a replacement. The record came to me without the inner sleeve, so some of the lines on the disc may be from rubbing the cover as the disc is pulled in and pushed back in. You forget how good Elvis really was until you listen to these old LPs of his. I MAIL LPS BETWEEN TWO FLATTENED PRIORITY MAIL BOXES, GIVING IT THE PROTECTION OF TWO LAYERS OF CARDBOARD ON EACH SIDE. tHIS IS A BIT HEAVIER, BUT IT PROTECTS THE RECORD COMPLETELY FROM POSTAL MACHINERY. I WILL PACKAGE THE DISC AND COVER SEPARATELY IN PLASTIC SLEEVES. Thanks for looking. No Reserve!!! I will combine winning items to save you money on shipping, when practical.
