Description
RCA LSC 1817 OFFENBACH, Gaite Parisienne, Arthur Fiedler, Boston Pops Orchestra, (1958) 11s/10s (I): This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old shaded dog pressing. It is one of the most sought after of all the RCA living stereo LPs, and the sound and ambiance are spectacular. It has a very wide and deep sound-stage with huge dynamics. This is my own personal copy, and the vinyl surfaces are beautiful - clean, glossy and quiet with no scuff marks, pops, clicks or skips. This is essentially a perfect copy and plays beautifully. The vinyl grading is M- due to 5 extremely tiny pressing bubbles on side 1 which are barely visible and totally inaudible. The labels are very clean with no spindle marks. The jacket is clean and grading is EX due to a small seam split on the lower right corner, and a mark on the upper right corner of the back side (see photo). In summary, this is a beautiful copy of this highly sought after golden age recording. Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied.
