Description
Wonderful original copy of LSC-1893, shaded dog, "Daphnis & Cloe", complete performance. Charles Munch conducting the BSO (Boston Symphony Orchestra. This is a stunning 2-mike recording from 1954. Stampers are 1S/1S and A1/A1 matrices so here you have earliest copy you can get. It is a very scarce "For demonstration purpose only" record too. Record is rated NM (near mint: NM NEAR MINT = vinyl has a few slightest of wear, nothing major, just short of MINT). Given the age of the record, you will do very hard to find a nicer copy of the D&C on LSC-1893.
In the near future I will list many great records, many TAS selected super records but also many mit ever increasing reputation among music lovers and audiophiles. Most of the best RCA Livings Stereo, Mercury Living Presence, Decca SXL and EMI ASD. I have only selected those with best sonics, focusing on earliest production series. The records (mostly 33rpm but also 78s and 45s) have been collected this the 90s but will be sold because I have fewer time to listen plus need space. They have been preserved very well over the time and will be offered with rating AFTER
listening throughout and thoroughly and cleaning them in advance using a Kuzma record cleaning machine.
Will ship international, shipping calculated according to buyers location and preferences (NO FREE SHIPPING, please ignore auction specs! Do not bid if you do not accept that!) . No return, private auction. Thanks for bidding.
