RCA LSC2313 Venice/OROH, Covent Garden/Solti, 1S/1S SD, STEREO disc

$

75

Aside from having the best sound out of the famous Kingsway Hall, this record also has perhaps the most unique and beautiful cover design of the entire LSC catalog! Occasionally you get disappointed by seeing a mono disc in a stereo cover, but this is the opposite: a genuine 1S/1S nice Living Stereo disc in a mono cover! Either it's an error from original RCA packaging or a mistake from previous owner, the only thing different is the missing Living Stereo banner and the prefix. Everything else, the lovely punched out panel, the color plates between the gatefold, and detailed notes, are all there.

Producer: James Walker

Engineer: Kenneth Wilkinson

Recording location/date: Kingsway Hall, London/18-21 Jun., 1958

Record condition: NM-/EX (one fingernail or spindle mark on S.2, soft ticks about 10 times, otherwise almost noise-free)

Cover condition: EX+ (slight ring and edge wear)

Stamper: 1S/1S shaded dog label pressing

Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection. Every record I offer was hand-picked based on its merits on music, performance, and sonics (not necessarily in that order!). I will list recording credentials such as producer, engineer, venue, date, etc. as I believe as an educated buyer, these will offer crucial info for an unfamiliar record to make a buying judgement. Hope you'll find this useful!
