Description

For auction is a near mint copy of LSC-2376, an RCA Living Stereo recording of Monteux and the Boston Symphony Orchestra playing Stravinsky's Petrouchka.  The album is in near mint condition, with the original cover and sleeve.  The cover is slightly worn from storage, the sleeve is near mint but shows signs of aging, and the LP itself appears flawless.

This album comes from the collection of an elderly audiophile in my family.  This album has been in storage for the last 15 years and was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 before that.   The owner of this album took meticulous care of all his albums and that is reflected in the condition of this album.  The collection from which I am selling this album is over 1300 albums and I have sold roughly 600 to date (to private parties, no via ebay) , without a single complaint.  Indeed, the purchasers of this collection has thus far been delighted with these albums.  I rate albums conservatively and do not remotely exaggerate their condition

I have played this album on my Rega turntable and it is sonically flawless.  I am very conservative in my ratings of albums and do not sell any albums with any marks, flaws, scratches, or issues on the actual LP.  I am a fellow music lover, not a professional record seller, and I am selling these albums simply because I either own multiple copies or don't have a passion for this particular piece of music. 

Please check my other auctions.  I will be selling two hundred premium records over the next month.  These include RCA Living Stereo, RCA Victrola, EMI, London ffss, Decca, Phillips,  Argo, Chesky, and Reference Recordings.  There will be several rare and desirable recordings. 

I pack carefully and ship fast.  I ship albums in special LP shipping cartons.

Flat shipping in the US is $4 via US Media Mail.   Shipping to other countries is the actual cost of shipping along with a $1 fee to cover the cost of the shipping carton and packing supplies.  I absorb the cost of insurance on any album over $50. 

Payment is via Paypal only.  I expect payment within 12 hours of the completion of an auction and will offer items to secondary bidders if payment is not received within 24 hours.  I use Paypal because it speeds transactions and allows me to ship quickly.
