RECORD: EXC (strong)
NOTES: Stampers 1S/1S with Shaded Dog label. Nice shape first US Stereo pressing that plays great - this is the tiniest bit below a NM, which is what most sellers would give it. Strict VG cover grade for slight wear to 2 corners. Listing some other Shaded Dogs today.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
