33 RPM Stereo 2-LP deluxe gatefold. AAA. RCA Living Stereo LSO-6006. Original, first edition RCA Stereo pressing.
LPs and jacket are in great shape. Both discs sound awesome! If you have not heard this recording before, you are in for quite a treat. The quality of the singing, the material, the playing and of course the recording are legendary, and for good reason.
This is the cleanest original, first edition copy I have come across. There are some paper/matt scuffs, but no scratches. It plays beautifully using my MicroBenz Ruby cartridge, which picks up whatever imperfections there are. Here, there are just some, very very light occasional background ticks, but nothing loud or bothersome in any way. A truly enjoyable set from beginning to end!
I had originally intended to play test just a minute or two from each side, but when I put it on, I couldn't take it off -- so I listened to the whole thing from begining to end. What an amazing concert, and amazing recording!!!
I am also including 2 rice-paper MFSL Original Master Sleeves along with the original RCA Victor plastic-lined paper inner sleeves, so this 45 year-old treasure can shine on for the next generation to discover.
