Cover is not a gatefold. Featuring: The Orchestra Of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden - Conducted by Georg Solti. Titled: "Venice". Titles Include: La Traviata: Preludes to Acts I and III, Semiramide: Overture, The Tales Of Hoffmann: Barcarolle, L'Italiana In Algeri: Overture and La Gioconda: Dance Of The Hours.

If you're not familiar with this format, here's some additional information: "RCA Victor's Living Stereo. This is the golden era of the vinyl LP, when recorded sound on record got away from the single speaker to be able to come out ot two speakers individually. Manufacturers were exited to bring out this new sound format to the listening public. We heard conductors leading the great orchestras in concert halls that many of us could not be present in to hear these performances in person. The Living Stereo album gave us that experience that the concert going public was witnessing live. Bands with instruments sounding in each corner of the audio spectrum and we could follow that sound with our ears instead of our eyes. Vocalists and soloists sounded like they were right there, instead of sounding like just being in a recording with the sound coming from the one speaker. Yes, RCA Victor led the way with stereo for all with their engineers and technicians paying careful attention to the quality of the recorded sound. These recording today are considered audiophile quality recordings-a witness to quality from the past.

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With RCA Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The issues to report: some very slight corner softening and slight edge and ring wear. Nothing serious on this near 50 year old LP!!.
