Description
I recently found a box with about 50 of my RAREST and most valuable records. They range from The Beatles w/o publishing credits to Classical.
Tonight I'll be listing 5 of my BEST RCA "Shady Dogs". Of course they are all STEREO!
This auction is for the RCA Living Stereo release called "The French Touch" with Charles Munch conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Music includes:
Dukas: The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Saint-Saens: Omphale's Wheel, Ravel: Mother Goose Suite.
LP Condition: I play grade all my more valuable records that I list on E-Bay so that there will be no surprises. Especially when I haven't heard many of these in years! The labels are perfect, no spindle wear. The LP has a few very minor scuffs but is visually stunning. Some minor ticks and surface noise in spots. Very enjoyable LP with no really serious flaws. The LP is 55 years old and very hard to find in this VG+ condition.
Cover Condition: No seam splits, no ring wear and no writing. Hard to believe for its age. There is a small stain in the left top corner on the back. Not really worth mentioning but I did anyway.
The LP comes with a MO-FI inner sleeve plus the original paper one. The cover also comes with a protective poly outer sleeve which is how I store ALL my good LPs.
This one is fairly rare so I hope that the opening bid will be fair. However, there is NO reserve.
All my records come from a smoke free home for at least as long as I've had them and are from my personal collection. No soot or stink on them.
Shipping will be Priority Mail in a new LP mailer. I will combine shipping so you only have to pay once but wait for an invoice if you win more than one auction. Insurance is on me if I deem it necessary to insure.
Note to International bidders: If this auction goes over $250, E-Bay demands a Signature Confirmation or I'm liable if the LP is lost. I believe International Express is the only option. In that case shipping could be over $60 but I'll check to make sure.
THANKS FOR LOOKING & GOOD LUCK!
