Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 8 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the RCA Victor Red Seal De Luxe.Non-Breakable label with beautiful red vinyl surface! It is Set DV-12 by Serge Koussevitzky and Boston Symphony Orchestra and Berkshire Music Festival Chorus, Robert Shaw-Director; with Soloists Frances Yeend-Soprano, David Lloyd-Tenor, Eunice Alberts-Contralto, James Pease-Bass. It is Beethoven's "Symphony No.9 in D Minor"-Op.125 ("Choral"). The records proceed from First Movement through Fourth Movement, Concluded on the 16 sides!. The Set is from new old stock and I actually unwrapped it myself, still with all original packing materials. Records are excellent to E+ condition-looks almost brand new. No wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean! Cover and inside sleeves like new as well. Great Set! Interestingly, each record was originally in a new 12" RCA sleeve each between the actual Booklet sleeves. (Also, last picture shows Set before I unwrapped)
