Description
Shostakovich's "Cello Sonata" and Schubert's "Arpeggione Sonata" by cellist Daniel Shafran on RCA Victor LSC-2553, original stereo U.S. pressing from 1961. An early example with "1-S" and "5-S" stamped in dead wax.
Cover is VG to VG+ with light wear, some faint moisture discoloration on upper back, and a 4" split at UR. No writing, stickers or tears. Clean-looking and still displays well.
Disc is EX to NM with full gloss and only a couple of very light and inaudible lines. Plays great with only minor surface noise. The sound would probably be even better after a good machine cleaning, but I prefer to leave that to the discretion of the winning bidder.
Labels are MINT with no writing, fingerprints, stickers or wear--absolutely beautiful!
An original RCA inner sleeve is also included with this LP.
A rare title in the "Living Presence" series, and in rare condition, too. Don't miss out on this one!
BID WITH CONFIDENCE! NO RESERVE!
