RCA Living Stereo LDS 6159 Soria series deluxe box set: The Heifetz-Piatigorsky Concerts
Box is in beautiful shape...some minor shelf wear but it is complete and intact. Sleeve insert is strong and intact in great shape as well. Comes with deluxe book in great shape, a couple of minor creases on back of book. LPs are sleeved in the original RCA Victor paper with plastic lining sleeves....discoloration due to age around the openings of the plastic.
LPs are in beautiful shape, I can't believe they have been played often. I played through side 5 to check the quality and surfaces are relatively quiet for lps of this age...minor surface noise and the occasional tick and pop but very low level. There was one big pop towards the end of the side but it may have been static electricity or a fleck of dirt that has now been removed by the stylus. I suspect all sides will be similar quality with low level surface noise and scattered ticks and pops. Overall these appear very clean.
I purchased this used ages ago and probably played through it at some point, but it has been over 10 years since I did a lot of serious music listening and this has been on the shelf unplayed for a long time.
