Description

Collectors, here is a super scarce disc, RCA Victor His Master's Voice (Great Britain), 78 rpm #VA39.  Enrico Caruso sings two songs, in English with orchestra:  the famous Cohan tune "Over There", and Tosti's song "Parted".  From the appearance of the disc, I'm guessing this dates to the late 1930's.  Exuberant version of the Cohan song in both French and English, a great listen.  The record plays with little surface noise, and overall fidelity is better than the circa 1918 original releases of the songs.  Wowee, I have no idea where you would find another record like this one, don't pass it up, go for it!
