Description

Harry Kirby McClintock, also known as "Haywire Mac," was an American singer, songwriter, and poet, best known for his song "The Big Rock Candy Mountains" that reached No. 1 on Billboard's "Hillbilly Hits" chart in 1939! It was featured much later in the 2000 movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Having worked as a cowboy himself, McClintock was one of the few "country" singers who had an authentic background from which to draw. And this extremely rare copy looks to be unplayed!

RCA Victor Sleeve: VG+
78rpm: Strong VG+ (Many would grade this in Excellent condition, I grade conservative. As mentioned above, there are absolutely no "spindle hole" markings on the Labels to indicate any play time!)
