Description
RCA Red Seal shaded dog record album LSC 2241. This is the one with the Chicago Symphony under Fritz Reiner doing the 1812 Overture, Fingal's Cave Overture, etc. See cover photos for full description.
A recent estate sale find with an auction lot of classical music all of which was in great condition and well cared for.
So much music that I have done a visual grading. Record is NM based on no scratches or abrasions and not even any dust or signs of use. Only one small smudge on one side of record to keep it from looking mint.
Album cover is VG+ or better in my opinion - you look and decide what you think. Surprisingly, it has very little shelf wear but there are some lightly soiled areas on the back - which may clean up as I have not attempted to clean. See pictures.
Please look at pictures and feel free to ask questions. This should be a good addition to your vinyl collection. I have start listening to vinyl again lately and the immediacy of the sound is still quite impressive on quality recordings.
I am not a record guru but have owned vinyl all my life and am familiar with the general grading guidelines. Please check the pictures and ask questions if you have doubts.
