Description

Vintage RCA Victor Red Seal 45 RPM box set — Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony No. 3, performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Serge Koussevitzky, recorded 1945 at Symphony Hall and released 1947 (catalog WDM-1161). Complete 3-record, 6-side set on translucent red vinyl, each disc in its original RCA Victor sleeve, plus the program notes booklet. Box shows honest shelf wear — chipped corners and a worn/split spine — but the cover art is bright and fully legible. Sleeves are clean with one light period pencil note. Vinyl surfaces present glossy and clean; sold as-is/untested for playback. A genuinely scarce format for classical collectors and Koussevitzky/BSO enthusiasts.
