Description

This is a 6-disc RCA Victor vinylite 78RPM set DV-8, with Serge Koussevitsky and the Boston Symphony in Beethoven's Eroica Symphony.   This short-lived series pressed on vinylite was RCA's attempt to provide an unbreakable disc with quiet surfaces, at a premium price of $2.50 per disc.  Therefore not many were sold, and due to the heavy pickups of the day they were often worn out after one or 2 playings.   Very rare and not often seen.   Each album has a facsimile signature of the artist on the cover.  This copy is in excellent condition.
