Description

This is a 4-disc RCA Victor vinylite 78RPM set DV-17, with the Paganini Quartet (Temianka, Rosseels, Courte, Maas) in Debussy's Quartet in G minor.   This short-lived series was RCA's attempt to provide an unbreakable 78 with quiet surfaces, at a premium price of $2.50 per disc.  Therefore not many were sold, and due to the heavy pickups of the era the records were often worn after one or two playings.   Therefore they are very rare and not often seen.  This is one of the rarest of the series.  Each artist's facsimile signature appears on the cover. This copy appears excellent condition.
