Limited Edition (copy #0251) of Classic Records' first fine reproduction of RCA's original deluxe Soria Series two-record set, including the beautifully-illustrated 23-page Pizzi book and oversized box with rounded spine  -  this is not Classic Records' later issue, which presented the same recording in a standard two-record, fold-open jacket.


The original RCA issue is among the scarcest and probably the most sought-after of the Deluxe Soria Series: it was only in print from December 1959 until September 1963; see The Abso!ute Sound, Issue #75/76, Page 68.  An amusing sidelight of this production is the fact that while Classic Records printed the issue prefix correctly on the disc labels, on the album spine they used the letters "LSC" instead of "LDS"!]


The records, the box, and the booklet are all in superb near-mint condition.
