It comes  with a great book that tells everything you might want to know about  each album.  These phonograph recording gives us the ability to preserve the unique sounds of the past.  Those of Enrico Caruso and John McCormack,of Rudy Vallee and Russ Columbo and Bing Crosby, of Mary Martin and Ethel Merman, of Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller, of Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong, of Perry Como and Dinah Shore,of Mario Lanza and Ezio Pinza, of Jimmy Durante and Spike Jones, of the dozens of other unforgettable stars who are heard in this album.
