  THE REAL JAMAICA SKA Ultra Rare Original 1964 Epic Records Radio Station Copy     Up for auction here is a beautifully kept copy of this amazingly rare ska LP from my collection.  As you may already know, this classic Epic Records album was one of the first ska albums promoted in the USA and is terribly difficult to find especially in this condition.    For this album Epic Records arranged for soul, funk legend Curtis Mayfield to fly to Jamaica to produce the album.  "The Real Jamaica Ska," features Jimmy Cliff along with Lord Creator, Winston Samuel, The Charmers, and The Techniques.  It was recorded in Kingston and truly captures the spirit of THE REAL JAMAICA SKA!    If you have never heard the original Epic Records pressing, do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash on it.  It literally puts the cheap reissues to shame.  Not only does this thing sound fantastic, but it has the songs in the original order that Curtis Mayfield intended them to be in.  You won't be dissapointed!  The American style hard cardboard outer sleeve is in stunning NM condition.  There are no dings, creases, or blemishes of any kind.  The heavy vinyl record is also in pristine NM condition with a high sheen gloss that is as bright as the first day it was opened.  There are no spindle marks.   The record has been stored in a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs rice paper inner sleeve and a Japanese sealable outer sleeve.  If you're a collector, you will appreciate the condition of this vinyl.  I will be selling several other rare LPs, books, pieces of art, and concert posters over the next few days so please check out my other auctions.    As in all my auctions, the pictures below are of the actual items for sale so you know what you are getting.  Bid with confidence as I pride myself on my 100% positive feedback.  All items will be packaged securely with sturdy cardboard mailers and the vinyl separated from the outer sleeve to avoid any seam splits in transit.  I will ship via USPS Priority mail for $9.  Insurance and delivery confirmation is included in this cost.  I will also gladly combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction.  The cost will be $2 more per record.    PLEASE CHECK MY EXCELLENT FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Record date : 1964
