RED CLAY Freddie Hubbard w/ Joe Henderson; Herbie Hancock; Ron Carter and Lenny White. CTI 6001 Van Gelder in dead wax. LP is VG+
Purchased this new and was always one of my faves. Took a deep dive into Joe Henderson after buying this LP and still buying his reissues and OGs. I recently upgraded to a green label with red gatefold and did a head to head with this using a Thorens TD-316 with a vdh MC-10 cart. Maybe the green label was a smidge better. This one has some scuffs and non feelable light scratches that DNAP. Some light pops between tracks. Of course, Van Gelder in the dead wax. Jacket is VG with some lamination cracking and peeling. No splits.
Will ship with original CTI inner sleeve.
The record will be shipped with the inner sleeve and record outside the jacket.
