Description

This is the DISC ONLY! NO COVER! But it is an original 1961 first pressing of Red Garland's High Pressure LP on Prestige PRLP-7209. A classic recording featuring an amazing John Coltrane at his absolute best, and Donald Byrd as well, also at the height of his powers. For someone who already has a copy with a decent cover but not great disc, and wants to upgrade. This copy is simply beautiful, very nearly perfectly mint. There are just a couple of very minor superficial scuffs, but they are barely anything and do not affect the play in the least. This thing plays absolutely flawlessly and stunningly beautifully. You will never ever ever find a copy as good as this. Truly astonishing. An incredible player. Rudy Van Gelder's RVG stamp in the runoff. And it comes in the original Prestige inner sleeve. Impossible to beat this disc.
