The great Puerto Rican tenor Antonio Paoli (1871-1946), known at the height of his fame as “The King of Tenors”, accompanied with orchestra conducted by maestro Carlo Sabajno, singing “Esultate-Addio sante memorie” from Verdi’s opera Otello – Rare ca. 1906 UK acoustic, single-sided 12”, 78 rpm record on Gramophone Monarch Record (Red G&T) 052172 with embossed Angel Trademark on the unrecorded side. Matrix number: 1259 c - Label Condition: VG++ / Record Condition: VG+/VG++ (some light surface scuffs, a couple of barely feelable pressing bubbles, some graying).
