Long lost 1986 indie Baltimore area hard rock debut by four piece band combining 70s prog values with an 80s uptempo hard rock sound; strong guitar and keys -dominated sound with lots of great riffs, clever hooks, witty lyrics. Sort of a "Civilian"-era GENTLE GIANT like feel, with an awareness of the 80s market; also somewhat akin to what their regional peers CRACK THE SKY were doing at the time. The band pressed 1000 copies in 1986, and self-distributed them. After leaving local stores with huge piles of lps ( that generally did not sell), the band poured essentially all the remaining copies into "promotion," sending them to college radio stations and music industry personnel. This left a dearth of available copies, and very few people outside of Maryland know what it is today. The band was a creative and prolific mainstay on the Baltimore scene for a while in the early to mid-80s, and this disc reflects their highly energetic and original style. Ten songs, all of them rockers.
