Description
Very nice copy of the 1970 CBS UK LP by Trees, 'the garden of Jane Delawney', S 63837, A1/B1 matrix suffixes, a first pressing with original inner and Shorepak unlaminated sleeve.
Sleeve has some ringwear, edge browning, a little edge and corner wear, a light stain mark on the top left corner at the front, a sticker tear on the back, top right, a few grubby marks, but colour and structure are really very good. Overall, the sleeve grades VG to VG+.
Supplied with the original, contemporary and correct CBS Rock Buster advertising inner sleeve.
The vinyl has no warp and plays very well, with clear, strong audio and nice stereo separation. No skips, sticks or jumps. There is some light background noise of varying degrees on both sides, not too obtrusive, and the occasional click and pop. There are some light hairlines on both sides and, on side 1, a couple of light skating scuffs and a couple of slightly more obvious lines on bands 1 and 2. Side 2 also has a small scuff mark at the end of band 2.
Not perfect, then, but still very clean and tidy, and an excellent playing copy that certainly grades between VG+ and EX-.
