Description
This is a very rare 45 rpm UHQR Reference Recording LP by the Red Norvo Quintet titled "The Forward Look" (RR-8) (1957) (Stereo). This album was recorded by Keith Johnson on New Years Eve, 1957 and mastered by Doug Sax, and pressed on Japanese virgin vinyl. Haf speed mastering was by the late, great Jack Hunt at JVC, and of course pressed by JVC in Japan on 220 gram, UHQR virgin vinyl.
The gatefold jacket is still in excellent condition with no cuts or noticeable wear, just a slight yellowing due to age. The record is near mint with no marks or scratches. It is as near new as you are likely to find. Also included is the original booklet that describes the UHQR process.
There is no reserve on this auction, get yourself a bargain.
