EMI REFLEXE SERIES 'Stages of European Music' 42 vinyl set (7 x box sets) of a '10 box-set edition'.
A SURVEY OF EUROPEAN MUSIC FROM THE LATE MIDDLE AGES TO THE RENAISSANCE
EMI GERMANY 1972-1979 (part of a 1972-1982 set). GATEFOLD SLEEVES with NOTES & TEXTS STAPLED INTO SPINES.
The slip cases are mostly in beautiful condition (near mint), especially for their age, just two slip cases (No.4 & No.8) have minor indentation on the back through storage.
This famous (7 x box-sets) pioneering set, featuring many of the champions of early music, comprises of recordings made from 1972-1979.
Accordingly, the majority of the recordings are STEREO with seven vinyls being SQ / QUADRAPHONIC - see photos
Additionally, most LPs are single vinyl LPs with just a few double-LPs (2x12" vinyl LPs) - see below info. - all LPs have laminated gatefold sleeves.

Labels = Near Mint ( seems to be no spindle marks - like new / wie neu - absolutely beautiful condition - look unplayed ) -
Vinyls = Near Mint ( all vinyls are clean and shiny: look unplayed - like new / wie neu - absolutely beautiful condition ) -
LP Covers = Near Mint ( Fully laminated gatefold - mostly like new / wie neu - beautiful condition for age - see photo) -
Slip cases = Near Mint - Ex. ( Linen-covered with glossy front cover - thick & heavy - mostly in near mint condition with minimal handling/storage wear ) -

Unfortunately, I seem to have mislaid three of the box-sets, as this was a complete set, some years ago, in my very large
vinyl collection. As many of you understand, decorating and other actions usually means boxing collections (LPs etc) and
placing them safely away from the area you are working and sometimes part of the collection is left in storage boxes.
Additional information: The gatefold covers are mostly in beautiful condition and the 42 vinyls are in beautiful condition.
The slip cases, with their draw-out LP holders, are in wonderful condition: just the normal light storage & handling wear with some minor fading etc.

Further Information: I normally only use the grading 'MINT' when the vinyl LP is still sealed - vinyls which are graded NM (Near Mint) are normally close to Mint or possibly Mint.

- Packaging: professional mailer, wrapping, sellotape, address labels etc. = approx. 0.3kg
Please note: some 'Box-sets' are heavier than others due to 'booklets, inners etc.' - a 'Box-set' containing a very large booklet is heavier. Normally, details of 'Booklets, inners etc.' are in the description.
Please note: Many ' 6LP Box-sets + Packaging' = less than 2kg (The weight is sometimes different due to thickness of vinyls, inner book etc...)

All records (vinyl, cover, box, inners, enclosed poster et al.) are described as accurately as possible.
Normally, I only visually grade records under strong daylight. But, I always view them carefully.
Dust on the vinyl does not have any bearing on my grading as this is only superficial and can be easily removed by careful cleaning.
I have been listening to vinyl & collecting vinyl for decades; I grade as accurately & realistically as possible
My advice is to professionally clean the vinyl before playing to remove dust and static thus obtaining the quality sound vinyl gives.

* I am a private seller wishing to reduce my very large (75000+ / 75 thousand plus) vinyl collection due to storage space and my age.
