*REFLEXE - STATIONEN EUROPAISCHER MUSIK - Volume 8 ++++ RARE AWARD WINNING AUDIOPHILE LUXURY SET **EARLY MUSIC This is the first release by EMI-Electrola GMBH (the German EMI division) of a series (ca 1970) that soon became world-famous by focusing on releases of rarely performed or more-or-less known Early Music Works. Some important contributors to this series at the beginning were the late Thomas Binkley and his Studio der Frühen Musik, Hans-Martin Linde and his Linde-Consort, Michel Piguet and the Ricercare-Ensemble für alte Musik., Zurich and Jordi Savall and his Hespèrion XX Ensemble at their debut.
THIS IS A LUXURY BOUND OVERSIZED SLIP-CASE BOX HOUSING SIX INDIVIDUAL LPS. (4 single lps, 1 double)
These recordings have become regarded as one of the finest documents of early Music and as such (in single lp format) appear on many Audiophile reviewers list including many selections on Arthur Salvatore's High End Audio List.
