REFLEXE - Stationen Europäischer Musik - Vol 1 - 10 EMI


The complete series - in total 60 records, partly unplayed. The records are in great condition. The boxes are basically in vg++ condition(maybe even better....) - few of them have some light (water)stains.

Please note: Postage cost is high, as the set weighs 22.6Kg before packing (it is substantial in every sense!). Since i am shipping from germany it could be more expansive then what you are used to pay for shippment. It should be around 50,- Euros to the UK and even more to the US.


Stationen Europäischer Musik - which translates as Landmarks in Eurpean Music - was in itself a landmark in performance and recording of early to renaissance music, covering a wide range of European traditions.  Recording dates range from 1970 - 1982, and the performers include the Hilliard Ensemble, the Linde Consort, the Studio der Fruehen Music & Thomas Binkley - too much detail to list!

The series was released initially as individual  EMI/Electrola "Reflexe" LPs, then reissued  as a collection of 10 volumes - eachvolume consisting of 6 LPs in a substantial slip-case (the LPs sit in a pull-out drawer) - note that some volumes contain double albums, so have less than 6 titles listed. The slipcases have protected the LPs particularly well, and the slieves are all bright and clean - in fact the art work is one of the attractions of this series, some of the most individual I have seen for classical LPs.  I have not played many of the LPs since aquiring the set, but doubt if they have all been played and most appear to be mint-near mint.
