REG KING (Self Titled)
Super rare 1ST PRESSING of this highly prized and much sought after hard-rock-soul LP. This eponymous solo LP from Reg King features backing from members of "B.B. Blunder" (ex-Blossom Toes) and "Mighty Baby" (ex-The Action) and Mick Taylor, Steve Winwood and Brian Auger. A lost classic that rarely turns up for sale in such good condition.

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG
Sleeve is in solid very good condition. There are no splits or tears and no serious damage. The issue that forces downgrading is that there is some ‘wave’ to the sleeve at the aperture. This is congruent with some moisture having permeated the sleeve in the past. That being said, there is no visible water damage or staining. There is some slight foxing to the rear and a very small patch of sticker removal damage.
RECORD: EX
Beautiful heavyweight vinyl looks and sounds fantastic. There is a hairline to each side. Neither are feelabel. There are also one or two entirely superficial sleeve removal marks. The record plays through fantastically with 2 or 3 periods of a couple of seconds of very very light background. A really fantastic copy of a very rare and sought after record.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
