FROM MY OWN SHELVES: AN INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND SOUGHT AFTER REGGAE SINGLE PLAYGRADING AT GOOD PLUS PLUS (DURING THE INTRO), THEN VERY GOOD MINUS CONDITION. SOME BACKGROUND CRACKLE AND THE ODD TICK BUT NOT OVERPOWERING THIS TRULY BRILLIANT SINGLE!
(PLEASE ALSO CHECK OUT MY OTHER REALLY RARE REGGAE, SKA, ROCKSTEADY AND BLUE BEAT SINGLES).FABULOUS REGGAE ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super SINGLE from THE KINGSTONIANS 'SUFFERER' / 'KISS A FINGER' was released on the UK BIG SHOT RECORDS label in 1968.
The SINGLE ('A' SIDE) PLAYGRADES AT VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-) condition (after a very crackly but jump free intro). This one goes for HUGE money in top condition. A GOOD PARTY COPY.
It has survived with MEDIUM surface scuffing but no deep scratches.
There is low level background crackle throughout and some light clicks but this does not overpower the music.
There are NO SKIPS OR JUMPS and the crackle is less noticable after the run in and intro.
The LABELS are VERY GOOD MINUS and have NO Stickers or Tears however there is ink to both sides (see pics for exact condition)
It is supplied in a plain white heavy card sleeve and a poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record rarely comes up for sale ANYWHERE. I grade strictly to the Rare Record Grading System and include a definition of grading below:
Rare Record Collector Grading: VG- (VERY GOOD MINUS)
VERY GOOD MINUS: Description: The record has obviously been played many times and displays some deterioration in sound quality with low level crackle/background noise, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable I will ONLY SEND this 'SIGNED FOR'.
