Description
Rainy Day Records USA (established 1981)
ALWAYS COMBINES SHIPPING TO SAVE YOU MONEY AND WE ALWAYS SHIP WITH TRACKING. YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!
From IRS Records (SP 70502), this is CHRONIC TOWN by
R.E.M., a beautiful 12" EP released August 24, 1982. This was
R.E.M.'s first 12" vinyl. The Hib-Tone single was their first ever
release on wax. Jacket is about EX or better showing heavy-duty,
clear tape along seams and spine; the tape seems professionally applied.
Back surface of jacket shows minor shelf wear at top (please study
photos carefully and message with questions). The wax appears MINT
and play grades about same. Nice collector's copy. This EP gets our
highest, most passionate recommendation.
Wherever possible we house our vinyl in Mobile Fidelity Sound
Lab inner sleeves for the ultimate in protection; we use 6-mil
outer sleeves or polyester both being the finest protection
available for LP jackets.
These we offer FREE to all our customers!

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you are not
helping a CEO buy a third vacation home, a second yacht
or a four hundred million dollar golden parachute. Instead,
you’re helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get
his team jersey, a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay
a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers
are our shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make
happy. Thank you for supporting small businesses.
Thoughts for today:
That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most
important of all the lessons of history.
--- Aldous Huxley (1895-1963)
As our eyes grow accustomed to sight they arm themselves against wonder.
--- Leonard Cohen (1934-2016)
