Description
Original 1987 US pressing of R.E.M. – Document on I.R.S. Records (IRS‑42059). This is the desirable Masterdisk‑cut / Europadisk pressing with the original 1987 catalog numbers and deadwax markings. Great copy for collectors looking for an early US issue with strong playability and a sharp jacket.
Vinyl is graded VG+. Played through with no skips, groove wear, or major issues. Surfaces show light sleeve scuffs and a few faint hairlines under bright light, nothing that impacts enjoyable playback on my system. Labels are clean with no writing or stickers.
Jacket is EX, still in the original shrink wrap with the original hype stickers intact on the front. Corners are sharp with only very minor rubs, spine text is fully readable, and there are no splits or writing. Shrink is tight but not overly constricting.
Deadwax / matrix (etched) includes the original I.R.S. and Masterdisk info (for reference only, may be hard to read in photos):

Record will be shipped in a proper LP mailer, with the vinyl placed in a separate inner sleeve and packed outside the jacket (inside the outer sleeve) to protect seams. I always use padding and cardboard stiffeners for safe delivery.
Nice upgrade copy of this classic R.E.M. album with the bonus of shrink + hype stickers and a strong early US pressing.
