Description

Ongoing sale of selected items from my personal collection of vinyl and CDs, the vast majority of which have been owned by me from new and have been safely stored in a smoke-free home. I try to describe each item as accurately as possible (vinyl will normally be play-tested) and therefore don't routinely accept returns - but I'm happy to offer a no quibble refund in the unlikely event that significant defects are found which were not called out in the listing.

  • 1983 UK pressing of R.E.M. debut full length album
  • Glossy sleeve
  • Label / catalogue number - I.R.S. SP70604
  • Matrices - A2/B1
  • I'm also including a small collection of contemporary press cuttings

Condition notes.... 
  • Play-tested end to end and sounds excellent throughout - I detected a couple of isolated light pops/clicks but no other flaws of note
  • Visually the vinyl also looks great, having been protected from hairlines with a polyliner
  • Both labels are nice and clean with no writing or other marks
  • The sleeve is very close to mint, having just a couple of tiny creases and superficial marks on the spine and a bit of wear on the opening
  • I'm reluctant to use mint for a used item but overall I reckon it's as close as you'll get to that      
Postage notes.... 
  • Records will be dispatched in a high quality custom mailer
  • Unless the item is new and still sealed I'll remove the record from both the outer sleeve and any printed inner in order to prevent seam splits in transit  
  • UK - I'll combine postage if buying more than one item - please wait for invoice
  • Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay's Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine p&p costs for multiple purchases. Please don't bid if you're not prepared to accept GSP costs or process - thanks
