Description

A 1st press on IRS for the UK market. The debut on IRS from '83 and very hard to find in the UK. Rem weren't an overnight sensation - in the UK this is very hard to track down. Matrix A2/B3. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover WITHOUT barcode. There's the bespoke inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback on Side 1. Side 2 plays with cleaner feed...NEAREXCELLENT. Just a couple of deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A pretty clean player but not enough to hit the higher grades. Lots of raw energy as you would expect from a near master copy. Expect a few crackles in a couple of the quieter tracks on side 1. E.g. quieter moments of Pilgrimage. Nothing upfront or unpalatable. A couple of isolated ticks per side. Side 2 plays absolutely aces - no issue at all. Overall a very assured rendition.
Cover (Vg+) Nice clean and flat front. The rear suffers creasing top left and bottom left. Not much edge wear. Spine 80% intact and all text legible. Overall cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No ageing. No split.
