2LP Original Vinyl Pressing Promotional
Gatefold cover with gold promo stamp on back.
A rare REM gem from my personal collection. A missing piece in many REM fans' vinyl collection. This has never been reissued, and the original pressing was done in fairly low numbers, due to this being in the heyday of Compact Disc.
Other than a possibly having seen a single play, by me, in the late 1990s, and test play of one track this morning, these 2LPs have seen no use in more than two decades.
LP1 is MINT- superbly clean.
LP2 is EX. Would be MINT- if not for one, very tiny mark on Side4, "Low Desert" was test played on a nice, vintage, Dual 721 turntable and the record had no problems tracking (no skip). The audible tick was barely discernable. It's a minor flaw....the only one. Most sellers probably would not even bother to note it. But for a high-end record, I do. I have inspected it closely, with a hand scope, test played it and the groove is fully intact. Sounds awesome. See photo.
Gatefold Cover is EX or better. No seam splits, no ring wear. See corner detail photos.

I am the original owner of this record as it was sent to me by my contact in the WB marketing department when I worked in music retail. I filed it away and it has been properly stored in a clean, non-smoking, climate controlled room for the past 23 years. Certainly a worthy edition to your collection.

Ships PRIORITY MAIL with full insurance. The item ships, double-boxed, in a sturdy LP mailer placed inside an exterior protective carton with padding. I know how to properly pack and ship LPs. Check my feedback. It's all good here. No donkey shenanigans.
